Powering a Brighter Future
Kingsway High School is taking another step towards a more sustainable future with the installation of solar panels at our Administration Block.
This exciting initiative will help reduce our reliance on municipal electricity, provide greater support during power outages and move us closer to our goal of operating off-grid. Beyond the practical benefits, this project represents a positive investment in our school’s future and our commitment to exploring more sustainable energy solutions.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Andile Sithebe - Project Manager at Adopt-a-School Foundation, Faranani Tshivhase - Electrical Engineer at NBI, Precious Thantsa - Social Facilitator at NBI, Rahul Mohan - Development Manager at CDG, Larry Khuvutlu - CEO of MJM Electrical and Ntiyiso Mahlaule of MJM Electrical for their valuable contributions and support in making this initiative possible.
Your involvement is helping Kingsway High School move towards a more energy-resilient future, ensuring that we can continue serving our learners and school community with greater confidence, even when municipal power is interrupted.
From everyone at Kingsway High School, thank you for investing in our school and helping us take this important step towards a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow.
